Nature and application:
· NATROSOL ® 250 hydroxyethyl cellulose (HEC) is a granular powder, which is soluble in water and presents a clear solution with pseudoplastic fluidity. NATROSOL at neutral PH and normal temperature ® R-type products can be dispersed without caking, thus providing good dissolution conditions. Its aqueous solution is not affected by high concentration of water-soluble inorganic salts, and its viscosity is not affected by mild acids and alkalis.
Based on the non-ionic nature of NATROSOL, it is miscible with many substances, including polymer emulsions, natural and synthetic gums, emulsifiers and defoamers.
NATROSOL ® 250 is a highly effective non-ionic thickener and water preservative, which can be used on all water-based coatings, adhesives and other industrial products with water as the medium. Standard NATROSOL ® 250 provides good flow performance. NATROSOL ® B provides additional stability in environments prone to microbial damage.
